Audition Information

Auditions for NCCT’s 48th summer show, Annie will be Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7 starting at 5:00 pm. When registering, you will be asked to select a day and to indicate the earliest you can arrive. Specific audition times will be assigned based on pre-registration; children will audition at the earlier times. Performers ages 8 and up are welcome. Callbacks will be Thursday, April 9 at 5:30 pm. If you are unable to attend callbacks due to Passover, please let us know.

On-line Registration will be available on this page soon.

Auditioners should:

  • Plan to sing 32 bars from a musical that best showcases your range and personality. If you are hoping for a specific character (see list below), your song can reflect that. Please bring your sheet music. An accompanist will be available.
  • Please also bring clothes you feel comfortable to move in. Everyone will be asked to dance so the choreographer has an idea on your skill level.

Rehearsals will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons (not everyone will be called to every rehearsal). First rehearsal will be Saturday, May 2 (full cast). We load-in to Lebanon Opera House on Saturday, June 27, and beginning Sunday, June 28, rehearsals will be held everyday (except July 4) and will be mandatory. Please list all conflicts when registering. Knowing your conflicts ahead allows us to make best use of our rehearsal time.

Parents of young children: If your child is cast in Annie, you will be required to volunteer time when we begin rehearsals in Lebanon Opera House, as well as during performances.
